My Tips to Taking Care of Yourself

Hi everyone!


Thanks to all who have given my blog a read. Life has been crazy since our lives have been flipped upside down. In many situations we are often talking about anyone else but ourselves. I find myself worried about everyone else and how they're doing then get the five minutes before bed to take a breath and realizing i'm so mentally exhausted.


Here are a few things i've been making sure to do recently as my life has been so crazy at home!


1. Time Management

Time management has been crucial. I've been blending a lot of work in my time I should be spending with family or even in the evening when I should be taking care of yourself. Develop a schedule of work time, play time, relax time and i'm sure that will help a ton!


2. Create a zen environment

In my room I try to keep it as relaxing as possible. No laptop, just my bed and tv to relax too each night. I even have a candle or a small sage that I light to just create the relaxing vibe.


3. Read/Listen to a Book

Reason I say listen is because I just downloaded Audible. Last night I had a terrible headache and looking or focusing on anything would just make it worse. Listening a book or a podcast has been a great way to unwind and take your eyes off screens or words for awhile.


Now, we may not have all the same ideas of what is relaxing but I hope these 3 tips give you a reminder in what we deserve to do for ourselves, not just weekly or "once in awhile", but DAILY.
